I help people and service-focused organizations
thrive and live well!
For over a decade...
I have helped service-focused organizations cultivate mindfulness and awareness. I have worked with diverse and dynamic groups of people, helping them develop the kind of awareness and wisdom that results in resourced individuals and easeful team collaboration. In my work with organizations... I employ a trauma informed approach to all programs which are designed to meet the social and emotional needs of each group or team I work with. I also work with an amazing team of colleagues and peers, who come from all walks and ways of life, to support the multidimensional needs of diverse groups and teams. |
Whether you want to alleviate stress, encourage team building, or foster personal growth, we can develop an array of mindfulness based offerings that are accessible and on point. Lets work together to create an organizational culture that is mindful, wise, and aware!
"Nichole is such a breath of fresh air. She brings thoughtfulness and a sense of wonder to the families and young adults we serve. She facilitates in a very 'outside the box' sort of way... she is dedicated to helping families see their positive qualities, appreciate what is different about each other, develop new tools and restore ease and well being in the family system. She brings a sense of grounding and calm to our program, and we have been so lucky to work with her."

Group Mindfulness Instruction
At the foundation of all Presence offerings are fundamentals of mindfulness practice and teachings. I offer small and large group mindfulness instruction and mentoring. I work with each team, group or organization to create a program that meets the diverse needs of it's people and while also supporting the aims of the larger group.

During these sessions, we will:
- explore experiential mindfulness practices as they relate to individual and team needs,
- engage in discussion about how mindfulness can support the group experience
- dive into the many questions you have about what mindfulness is and how it serves as a profound tool for personal and professional, individual and organizational growth
- a general sense of well being and ease
- cultivating self/other awareness
- nervous system regulation and stress/anxiety alleviation
- attention, concentration and focus
- emotion regulation
- increased experience of connection, collaboration and clear communication
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction
Drawing from my work teaching Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine and in other departments at UCSF, I offer modified MBSR and mindful stress reduction programs at various organizations elsewhere in the Bay Area. Depending on the needs of your organization and it's people, we can develop and implement programs which incorporate basic stress reduction and relaxation tools and practices. Based on the idea that our stress is relative to how we relate to it, we will explore practices for learning how to relate to stress with more ease and awareness, thus giving participants a greater sense of agency and choice in their wellbeing.

Nichole's mindfulness class was life-giving for me, not only because of the power of mindfulness but also because of her wisdom, warmth and gentle guidance. I can't express how important this class was to me and how remarkably elegant I thought her instruction was. I am thankful for starting my mindfulness journey off strongly - I now look forward to many years of deepening practice. -Lucy A. UCSF mindfulness student
