Office Policies & Consent to Consultation


CONFIDENTIALITY:  All client information  including name of individuals, payment information, and other details relevant to our work together is held in strict confidence, including phone number, email and mailing addresses, and will not be given to any outside source. 

FEES, PAYMENT METHODS & REFUNDS: Full payment is due at time of service via the client portal, unless other payment and invoice  arrangements are made in advance. In the case of comprehensive and group-specific instruction, consultations and engagements payment details will be outlined in the contract. For classes and programs, payment will be made in full, prior to the first session.  At this, time due to the nature of running a small business, Presence Mindfulness is unable to offer refunds for any classes or programs, once you have begun the course. I will gladly transfer your funds for use in another program.  If there is a specific cancellation or refund policy per your contract or program registration, please defer to that contractual agreement.
 

INSURANCE: At this time I do not receive insurance payments, nor do I provide a superbill for insurance reimbursement. As insurance laws begin to change in favor of coaching and mindfulness as complementary health  and wellness services, this too will change in my practice. I will keep you posted as this changes. 

CANCELLATIONS: If you need to reschedule your regular session time, please let me know as soon as possible. I will do my best to find another time to the extent that I am available.
If it is necessary to cancel a scheduled service, a  48 hour notice is requested. If 48 hour cancellation is not given the client will be billed  for 100% of projected  appointment time.

TELEPHONE & EMAIL: In the event you need support, or need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please call or email. Please DO NOT TEXT. In most cases, I will try to get back to you within 12 hrs. I will return calls or emails made on weekends on Monday unless we have prior arrangements. If you need support in between scheduled sessions I am available for 5 minute check-ins. If our time on the phone exceeds 5 minutes I will charge a prorated amount based on your fee.
